Overview
A 12-day, 11-night Adriatic and Balkan journey from Dubrovnik to Venice through Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovenia and Italy.
Beginning in Dubrovnik's UNESCO-listed Old Town with the Rector's Palace and the Franciscan Monastery with its historic pharmacy, the tour crosses into Bosnia and Herzegovina for Mostar's Old Bridge, the Blagaj Tekke and Počitelj. You visit Diocletian's Palace in Split and the Cathedral of St. Lawrence in Trogir, then walk through the Plitvice Lakes. After two nights in Zagreb you continue to Ljubljana, ride the cave train in Postojna and visit Bled Castle and take a pletna boat on Lake Bled. The journey ends among the canals of Venice. Eleven nights in 4-star hotels with buffet breakfast (lunches and dinners not included); local guides accompany you.

Old Dubrovnik walking tour: the Rector's Palace, Sponza Palace, the City Bell Tower, Orlando's Column, the Dominican Monastery and the Franciscan Monastery with its historic pharmacy. Free afternoon at the Old Port. Overnight: Dubrovnik. Breakfast included.

Day 3: Dubrovnik → Mostar
Route: Dubrovnik → Mostar. Scenic coach transfer across the border into Bosnia and Herzegovina. Mostar City Tour: the Old Bridge, Old Bazaar, historic mosques and the Turkish House. Overnight: Mostar. Breakfast included.

Route: Mostar → Blagaj → Počitelj → Split. The 16th-century Blagaj Tekke (Dervish lodge) at the source of the Buna River. Počitelj, a walled Ottoman town on the Neretva River, with its fortress viewpoint. Transfer to Split. Overnight: Split. Breakfast included.

Split walking tour: Diocletian's Palace, the Cathedral of St. Domnius, the Temple of Jupiter and the cobbled streets of the Old Town. Overnight: Split. Breakfast included.
