Overview
An 11-day, 10-night Balkan and Adriatic journey from Budapest to Venice through Hungary, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovenia and Italy.
Beginning in Budapest, the pearl of the Danube, with the Castle District, the tour travels via Zagreb to the Pliva Waterfall in Jajce and on to Sarajevo. In Sarajevo you visit Baščaršija and the Gazi Husrev-beg Mosque, and in Mostar the Old Bridge. A city tour inside Dubrovnik's historic walls is followed by Diocletian's Palace area in Split and the Sea Organ and Greeting to the Sun in Zadar. After the UNESCO-listed Plitvice Lakes, Lake Bled and Ljubljana, you visit Postojna Cave, and the tour ends at the Noventa di Piave Designer Outlet near Venice. Ten nights in 4-star hotels with buffet breakfast; lunches and dinners are not included.
