Cancellation Conditions

Cancellation and Refund Terms
 
The Voucher document containing reservation information for tours and trips purchased through the Tempel Travel website, Tempel Travel headquarters, and/or intermediary travel agencies is delivered to the Consumer. By accepting the Voucher, the attached package tour contract is deemed accepted by the Consumer. The cancellation and refund terms are considered to have commenced between the Consumer and TEMPEL TRAVEL with the Package Tour Contract. The cancellation and refund conditions are regulated according to the relevant articles of the package tour contract and are an integral part thereof.
 
Cancellation and refund terms for the Package Tour Contract between Tempel Travel and the Consumer are as follows:
 
1. REFUNDS FOR PROMOTIONAL TOURS:
For promotional or discounted products, there is absolutely no right to cancel after making a reservation.
 
2. REFUNDS FOR INTERNATIONAL TOURS:
Unless otherwise specified for international tours, if the cancellation and withdrawal request is made up to 30 days before the start of the trip, the full amount paid will be refunded to the Consumer without any deductions, except for mandatory taxes, duties, and similar legal obligations. In cases where the Consumer cancels or requests changes with less than 30 days remaining until the start of the trip, the Consumer agrees and undertakes to pay the entire tour price as a cancellation fee to TEMPEL TRAVEL.
 
3. REFUNDS FOR CRUISE TOURS:
Unless otherwise specified for cruise tours, if the cancellation and withdrawal request is made up to 60 days before the start of the cruise, the full amount paid will be refunded to the Consumer without any deductions, except for mandatory taxes, duties, and similar legal obligations. In cases where the Consumer cancels or requests changes with less than 60 days remaining until the start of the cruise, the Consumer agrees and undertakes to pay the entire cruise price as a cancellation fee to TEMPEL TRAVEL.
 
4. REFUNDS FOR DOMESTIC TOURS:
Unless otherwise specified for domestic tours, if the cancellation and withdrawal request is made up to 30 days before the start of the trip, the full amount paid will be refunded to the Consumer without any deductions, except for mandatory taxes, duties, and similar legal obligations. In cases where the Consumer cancels or requests changes with less than 30 days remaining until the start of the trip, the Consumer agrees and undertakes to pay the entire tour price as a cancellation fee to TEMPEL TRAVEL.
 
5. REFUNDS FOR DAY TOURS:
Unless otherwise specified for day tours, if the cancellation and withdrawal request is made up to 15 days before the start of the trip, the full amount paid will be refunded to the Consumer without any deductions, except for mandatory taxes, duties, and similar legal obligations. In cases where the Consumer cancels or requests changes with less than 15 days remaining until the start of the trip, the Consumer agrees and undertakes to pay the entire tour price as a cancellation fee to TEMPEL TRAVEL.
 
6. REFUNDS FOR TOURS INCLUDING AIRLINE, TRAIN, SHIP, ETC. TICKETS:
In all package tours including services from different carriers such as airlines and trains, the rules of the carrier's tickets will apply. As ticket issuance is handled by the Carrier Company on behalf of the Consumer upon purchasing the Package Tour, cancellation and withdrawal requests will be subject to the Carrier's rules. The ticket rules of the Carrier Company are regulated according to international and different transportation laws, and since Package Tours have a framework outside the scope of Package Tour laws and regulations, the aforementioned Package Tour cancellation rules are not applicable to these services. The Consumer acknowledges in advance that when purchasing a Package Tour, TEMPEL TRAVEL acts as an intermediary between themselves and the Carrier Company. The ticket rules of the Carrier Company begin when the Consumer purchases the Package Tour and continue until the relevant travel is completed. For a Package Tour that includes tickets from different carriers, regardless of the remaining time until the Tour departure, the full or partial amount paid, as per the relevant ticket rules, will be refunded after deducting mandatory taxes, duties, and similar legal obligations from the tour fee. In cases considered as force majeure and/or due to health reasons, the ticket rules of the Carrier Company will apply to Tour cancellations. Even if TEMPEL TRAVEL decides to refund the Consumer for the force majeure reasons, it cannot prevent deductions that can be made on the Carrier Company's ticket fees. TEMPEL TRAVEL is not responsible for these possible deductions, and the Consumer has no right to claim compensation from TEMPEL TRAVEL.
 
7. NAME CHANGE AND TRANSFER RIGHTS FOR ALL TOURS:
7.1 General Rules for Name Changes in Package Tours:
For international tours, name changes can be made free of charge from the sale of the tour until 30 days before the tour departure. For domestic tours, name changes can be made free of charge from the sale of the tour until 15 days before the tour departure. For day tours, name changes can be made free of charge from the sale of the tour until 7 days before the tour departure. Requests made with less time than these periods can result in situations where name changes are subject to a specific extra fee and/or where some services can change and some services cannot be altered, or where no changes can be made at all. In such cases, the Consumer will be informed about the price difference arising from the name change. Upon the Consumer's acceptance of this additional fee, the necessary name change will be performed. If the Consumer fails to make the additional payment after the change, TEMPEL TRAVEL reserves the right to cancel the entire reservation and/or recover all expenses from the Consumer. Name changes are carried out based on the Consumer's request and approval. Any name change request communicated to TEMPEL TRAVEL via phone, email, SMS, orally, and/or in writing will be considered as the Customer's approval.
7.2 Regarding Transferred Tours in International Tours, visa fees of Participants for whom visa procedures have been completed will not be refunded. However, Participants who take over a transferred Package Tour will be responsible for their own visa obligations. If their visas are not granted or not issued until the start date of the tour, despite having applied, TEMPEL TRAVEL holds no responsibility in such cases. In such situations, the Agency will collect the full Tour price from the transferring and/or receiving party.
 
8. CANCELLATION OF CONNECTING FLIGHTS, VISA, AND INSURANCE IN TOURS:
For international travels and cruise tours, visa and insurance fees, as well as any fees for domestic connecting flights offered with the tour, are non-refundable.
 
9. FORCE MAJEURE AND/OR HEALTH CONDITIONS FOR CANCELLATIONS:
Force majeure conditions stipulated by the law for the Consumer or their immediate relatives, severe accidents that would hinder the fulfillment of any provision of the package tour contract, serious illnesses requiring treatment, and cases of death are considered force majeure for the CONSUMER. The Consumer must prove the existence of the force majeure with valid documents obtained from official institutions and state hospitals. If, despite taking all necessary precautions, the Consumer encounters an unforeseeable and uncontrollable situation or the force majeure reasons specified in this clause, and if the cancellation is made within 30 days (60 days for cruise tours) before the start of the package tour, except for expenses arising from mandatory taxes, duties, etc. and non-refundable amounts paid to third parties and documented payments, the amount paid by the Consumer will be refunded without any deduction within 14 days from the date of receipt of the cancellation notice by TEMPEL TRAVEL. According to Law No. 1618, if this cancellation is covered by an insurance policy, the necessary refund will be made by the insurance company, and the processing time for the refund varies depending on the insurance claim refund process. TEMPEL TRAVEL is responsible for the timing of insurance refund processes and documentation procedures.
 
10. TOUR CANCELLATIONS MADE BY THE TOUR OPERATOR:
TEMPEL TRAVEL reserves the right to partially or fully cancel tours due to failure to reach the minimum number of participants, weather and road conditions, force majeure events, and/or similar reasons. In international tours, this situation will be notified to the Consumer at least 7 days before the tour departure, in domestic tours at least 2 days before the tour departure, and in day tours 1 day before the tour departure. In such cancellation cases, TEMPEL TRAVEL will refund the full payment to the Consumer within 14 days. The Consumer has no right to claim compensation from TEMPEL TRAVEL for such cancellations.
 
11. CREDIT CARD REFUNDS:
In the case of refunds to credit cards, the reflection of the refund on the card can take up to 14 business days, depending on the working conditions of the banks. If the Consumer requests a refund to their credit card from their own bank for a Package tour purchased with a credit card, the TEMPEL TRAVEL cancellation and refund conditions will apply. The Consumer does not have the right to request a refund from the bank for their credit card payment according to the cancellation and refund conditions they agreed to when purchasing the Package tour. Credit card refund procedures can only be conducted by TEMPEL TRAVEL
